How I got here
Four years from first line of Python to leading mobile work on production systems.
A career change, on purpose
I finished a Master’s in Botany from National University of Bangladesh and started down the conventional path — then realised it wasn’t the one I wanted. In August 2022 I began teaching myself to program.
Foundations with CS50P
Harvard’s CS50P on edX gave me the fundamentals: how a program is structured, how to debug, and how to keep going when nothing works.
React, then the whole stack
Meta’s Front-End Developer Certificate introduced me to React. Programming Hero’s Complete Web Development course and its Level 2 programme took me through the MERN stack, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, Prisma, Docker, AWS and GraphQL.
First engineering role
Joined Neutron Ltd. as a Software Engineer. Promoted to Team Lead within five months, mentoring five MERN developers while shipping two production SaaS platforms.
Going native
Completed Meta’s React Native Specialization and led Orii’s mobile work — dual POS apps for florists and restaurants, both published on the Apple App Store.
Warehouse-scale systems
Now at Techzu as Software Engineer III, architecting an ERP and its offline-first Portable Data Terminal app for real-time warehouse operations.
